Whose line is it anyway? - Part 2

'Procrastination is the thief of time' - says who!?
'Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.'
For those of you who smiled on reading the second quote...'We are of the same feather, come, flock together' :) if you went Ewwww..com'on try to get a bit more artisitc and if you dint say anything at all.. well I get it you dont get it. Ideally speaking all of us procrastinate don't we? most of us talk highly of prioritizing which eventually includes procrastination too.Putting off things actually has a lil bit of refreashing attached to it.It gives more time for us to think about it,evaluate the situation and a lot like it.Ok with no further dilly-dallying let me get straight to it today at work I realised I sort of derive some pleasure in putting things off for a while.I have been overdoing it too. There is a considerable amount of work which I dutifully carried forward from 2009,10 days into 2010 and they are still untouched. On my personal mailbox there are emails to be replied which I promised to do asap.My room is in a slight mess and I'm learning to live with it.There are scores of missed calls on my cell phone, havent returned any of them.My ipod hasnt seen a new song in days. The snow is still waiting for my canon to crawl out of its pouch. 2010 resolutions haven't been broken yet! There are so many decisions pending and I put off even thinking about them.ah well there are a few apologies to be made :( Worser still I even tend to postpone my sleep no wonder am blogging at ungodly hours infact I have been wanting to post one ever since the New year's day

Do you think I should blame it on my lazy bones?
But I have been fairly busy..working late nights.. which proves i'm not lazy afterall ! The more I think of this the more inexplicable it becomes and that's a wee bit scaring.Considering the fleeting pleasure derived I tend to link it with gossip.People love it when they do it and later regret for it(well not everyone does tht).Felt a shiver down my spine now.

Gettin back to the question is it the thief of time or an art?
It has to be art becos it is done so well and has many degrees of perfection to it... but man!! when I'm busy keeping up with yesterday I miss out on the beauty of today.Oh no!.Well this post is my first attempt to set the leftover right and wowieee I got through succesfully

Afterthought : Time heals nothing,it merely re-arranges our memory especially during the year end :)

P.S - For those of you who missed the 1st part of this series. Here you go

People say the first step to solving a problem is identifying and agreeing that there is one!!

Whenever I have done that, I have agreed that it's a problem and moved on without setting it right. So for me, it's highly imperative that I think everything is in working order and set about solving things just before deadlines

I don't know how it works for you, maybe you just want the adrenalin rush to complete things just before deadline and you've grown to like that drug.
